This is an experimental piece for me. I used black (oil), red (blood) and gold (money) rusty metal (how old are our ideas) peeling paint (from oil) and wood (to represent nature and the ways we should be thinking)

The cash happy modern farming techniques leave us with cheap but nutritionally almost pointless food.

Based on the badger cull occurring in Wales. The badger is stitched in cotton on painted canvas with added mixed media. 91/2 x 12" £195

Represents the animal experiments that go on in Huntingdon Life Sciences for products such as food additives, adhesives and dyes.

Made using cotton and Natesh threads. It is based on the artists move from Ireland to Wales. The Phoenix traditionally symbolises peace and good fortune and the lotus, purity. The green is for the future and luck and the pink of the flowers for hope. Sold
