The 'How to Embroider a Seahorse' PDF has been finished today. It can be found here
I have finished another PDF, it is a collection of 9 of my most popular designs and it is available for £1 here
I sold another stick insect, so I made that this morning, and I finished off 2 embroideries that I have been waiting to finish for ages, they are done now and are on my 'embroideries' page here
I am now going to start on a new style for me, hopefully I will be able to post all of the amazing photos of it in the next few days, if it goes quiet, you know it didn't work :@)
Tomorrow I am going to 'Itchy Fingers' again, I went for the first time on Friday and it was so inspiring and I am going to have a tattoo consultation
I have managed to get two more PDFs finished, How to Embroider a Poppy and How to Embroider a Dipper are also available here They are all £1 except How to Embroider a Dipper which is free!
Coming soon are How to Embroider a Kingfisher, How to Embroider a Seahorse and a download of around 10 of my original designs
A very busy day today, we had DVD orders for James' dad, so I burned those and made 4 new cases for future orders.
I managed to get my 'How to Embroider a Robin' PDF finished! it has only taken me about a year longer than I expected and it is now available along with 'How to Embroider a Jay' here I have also started work on 'How to Embroider a Dipper' which should be up in the next few days. I have spent some of today marketing these PDFs and now I am going to have a break for a while and then I am going to start Ebaying some more of our things that we have collected but no longer need.
I tried to get my gun finished last night, but I think I over stuffed the grip and so it is too big now. Hopefully I can get that finished in the next few days and I will be able to upload that as well
It has been a busy day today. We started about 6.30 and I am still at my desk at 3 this afternoon (well I think my brain might have gone missing!) I have made 2 kits, sold a third, done a DVD for James' dad, sold a book, designed my letter for the Embroiderers' Guild, updated the Embroiderers' Guild blog, website, Twitter, blog and I still have the cricket and the football to listen to! My letter needs to be done by Friday, so I have to get on with it really particularly as tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, so I will be having a day off!
My new phone arrived yesterday. I bought it second hand and it came broken with photos of credit cards and pornography on it, so it may have to go back!
I have not done any wren today, but here is the latest picture.....
Wow, another very productive day today, I have finished the proof reading of my book 'How to Embroider a Robin' and all it needs now is to ask James to do the layout for me and to do some final proofing and it is ready (only about a year behind schedule......oops!)
I have painted the background of my first seahorse kit. This will be appearing in Stitch in the June/July issue and hopefully I will be making many more. It just needs a painted background shape and the outlines put on and then hopefully it will be up in the next few days. In August I will be able to write up the article into a book too.
I also started writing the 'How to Embroider a Kingfisher' book. The article appeared in Stitch last year and after a years delay I have finally started rewriting it for a book, so there is a lot happening at the moment!
I live in Newcastle (UK) and I have been a professional embroiderer for over 10 years.
