I am afraid that I will not be able to continue doing the Green Monster Mondays as I can't put the effort I would like into each pattern and end up rushing the final pictures which are really some of the most important parts. I always make a second toy so I can test the pattern to make sure you get an accurate PDF and this is just too much for me to do in a week. I will still be making the patterns, but this way I can experiment and make something that is really good, not just something I can make in time for Monday.
I am sorry about this, but I hope you will see the improvements and if you would like to know when I have put the new patterns up, just contact me and I
I had a day off yesterday because I was so tired from all the crochet! Today I have been making a monkey based on a teddy bear of a monkey that I own. The head went wrong because I was trying something new so I started on the nose which seems to be going well. I tried a new stuffing and I am not sure how much I like it as it is so fluffy, it goes everywhere and covers everything in fine fibres. I will keep with it as it was expensive!
We have fostered 3 kittens for the Cats Protection League, they are getting more used to human contact, but are still scared of us. I have been sitting with them today, but they have been asleep because they were playing from about 4am! I think I will go and read my book with them now.
Thank you to all my lovely new visitors, don't forget to tell everyone about
It has been super busy here. I have been getting up at 5 every morning just to get the work done and I think it all should quieten down a little now. Few!
I have finished my tea cosy. I will upload the pattern as soon as it has been used by the magazine which will probably be around Christmas time.
My first Green Monster Monday went up, it was quite simple, because I was trying to finish the tea cosy.
This weeks Green Monster Monday was based on Mr Skinny from the Mr Men books. I think I will try to make a monkey for next week as there is a challenge on Deviant Art I thought I could enter.
I live in Newcastle (UK) and I have been a professional embroiderer for over 10 years.
