I had a sudden burst of creativity at about 7.30 last night, I finally made it past the feeling blech phase and wanted to get on! So I cut out the tissue paper flowers that are going to make up part of the background of an embroidery and I also made a card in cross stitch, I don't know if I will use it yet, but I wanted to see if it would work.
Alan (my brother-in-law) is coming to visit today, so I am not sure what I will be able to post over the next few days, but I will do my best!
I know it's not what you want to see, but I am still not flying on all cylinders, I did manage to make some crochet blanket, so a definite improvement!
I am still feeling a bit rough today, so here is a wren embroidery that I am half way through, I think I might make it into a card or maybe attach it to an artists canvas.....we shall see!
I have been feeling rough today, so here is a bad photo of the cards I have made so far.....more professional ones coming soon!
No excuses, I forgot, this is some of what I did yesterday, will write more this evening to show what I have done today!
I am back and sewing again! Hooray! It has been a long time since I have done any stitching and I hope to be back blogging each day again, but now I will have more fun things to tell you about than selling Magic cards :)
Today I have been making some cards, this is one I finished (it still needs to be attached to the card) and I will be putting pictures of lots of other ones soon, but this will do for now!
The card is a machine stitched tea paper background that I painted and added random daisies to.
Karen very kindly sent a photo of her completed Slimer, he has come out very well! Thank you Karen, it is lovely to see the pattern being used
I live in Newcastle (UK) and I have been a professional embroiderer for over 10 years.
