I have the photograph of the blue tit printed and ready, I will trace on the design and probably machine s
We are still waiting to hear back about the house, very exciting!
Stitch Magazine sent my Seahorse back that I made and I am trying to sell it before we move. I am taking offers - no offence will be taken :@) so feel free to write and make me an offer for him.
I am doing a Blue Tit commission that I was given a long time ago, I had already painted the background, so today I sorted out the details with the client, ironed all the fabrics and found the threads I was going to use. We had a meeting with our local Nichiren Buddhist group, we have been to a few now and they are very interesting people.
I have decided to concentrate on making the crochet goodies that I have on my website and I was in the middle of making a crochet grenade (as the Glock pistol I made is so popular) when I was asked to make Slimer (from Ghostbusters) with a sausage roll (!) I took up the challenge and finished Slimer yesterday and the pattern is now up for sale. Tee hee! The sausage roll will be finished soon. I will be taking the (crochet!) grenade to the Embroiderers' Guild meeting this afternoon and I can see how I get on with it.
On the moving house front, we had the house valued on Tuesday and we are waiting to hear from someone who will completely re-do the whole house to rent it out, so there would be no point in us doing any work on the house until we know if it is going to be sold to them. If not, then we will paint everything and see how we do....Eek!
I live in Newcastle (UK) and I have been a professional embroiderer for over 10 years.
